The Venezuelan Science Incubator (Incubadora Venezolana de la Ciencia, IVC) is a non-profit clinical research organization based in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. The premise of our work is cooperation with rural communities, in collecting and recording data of the emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases in their regions. The invaluable asset of these data allow us current resource to monitor epidemiological trends and the rapid evolution of pathogens in our laboratory research.

Your kind contributions will support our field visits to vulnerable Venezuelan communities, specifically, it will be used to:

- Implement projects of Citizen Science, which place the population as protagonists of the control of infectious and contagious diseases;

- Implement educational activities of Citizen Impact, to attend the needs of those populations considered at risk, creating social awareness among the inhabitants.
