Fertile Ground will use a quadruple-bottom line business approach. Quadruple bottom line (QBL) provides means to measure, value and assess the addition of culture, spirituality, and faith in reporting. This can be expressed as people, planet, profit, and PURPOSE.

People – FGFC will focus on creating value for all Southeast Raleigh stakeholders impacted by business decisions, including customers, employees, vendors, and community members.
Planet – FGFC is concerned with making a positive impact on the planet. We will choose vendors who are good stewards of the land as well as we maintain good stewardship of our farmland as well.
Profit – FGFC decision making will be driven to make profits but also to honor all our stakeholders and the planet.
Purpose – FGFC believes in being kind but firm in balancing People, Planet and Profits in a way to help elevate Southeast Raleigh.
