Founded by Retired Chief Petty Officer Michael Jon de Leon, Recon Chief Inc. is a veteran outlet for military-to-civilian transition and a recreational and vocational therapy program.

Recon Chief, Inc. is a one-of-a-kind organization passionately committed to enriching the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of combat veterans and their families. Utilizing the adrenaline-filled world of hypercars and supercars, we aim to provide a comprehensive safety net for veterans. Recon Chief is more than just a pit stop; it is a hub of curiosity, purpose, and passion where veterans can refuel and recharge as they transition back into civilian life.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower veterans in their journey toward mental health and wellness through recreational therapy, camaraderie, and high-performance motorsports. We focus on raising awareness and advocacy for PTSD, suicide prevention, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and general mental health. By offering team-building activities, specialized training, and ample opportunities for engagement, we aim to significantly lower the risks associated with veteran mental health issues, including suicide.

Support Veterans' Well-being: The primary mission objective is to enhance the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of combat veterans and their families.
Raise Awareness: Increase awareness about issues such as PTSD, Veteran suicide prevention, Post-War trauma, and Military Sexual Trauma (MST).
Camaraderie and Community: Foster a sense of camaraderie and community among veterans transitioning from active duty back to civilian life.
Empowerment: Empower veterans by providing them with opportunities for personal growth and development through motorsports, vocational, and recreational therapy.

Program Objectives

Team Building: Develop and implement a comprehensive team-building curriculum that equips veterans with skills that can be applied on the racetrack and in their daily lives.
Training: Provide veterans with high-quality training in mechanical skills, safety equipment, and safe driving while ensuring they can be fully engaged in motorsports activities.
Racing Events: Organize and host monthly, quarterly, and annual racing events where veterans can apply their training and skills to experience the thrill of motorsports therapy.
Community Outreach: Engage in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about veteran issues, gain local support, and attract participants, donors, and sponsors.

Recon Chief Inc. will be gathering many different ideas from our veterans and like-minded individuals to execute our mission to help veterans survive and thrive with the knowledge and expertise that earns their way to the cockpit of a fully built and tested race car on the track; built by veterans, tested by veterans, then driven by veterans to reach their overall goals of redirecting lost or unused skills/energy into their everyday lives through therapuedic racing and camaraderie.
