Proceeds from FightNight raffle ticket sales and donations benefit TREC Community Investors and a neighborhood revitalization effort unlike any other in Texas.

For more than 30 years, TREC Community Investors has joined forces with underserved communities throughout Dallas to invest in the disinvested, energize neighborhoods, and change lives.

Since 2018, TREC Community Investors has focused its philanthropic resources on a single neighborhood through the Dallas Catalyst Project, a multi-organization partnership to tackle longstanding community issues block by block.

The inaugural Dallas Catalyst Project in the Forest District resulted in 22 impactful commercial real estate projects – including a laundromat, fresh food market, commercial kitchen, bicycle shop and repair center, and renovated housing developments, among others – that generated more than $144 million in outside investment into the community.

TREC Community Investors has committed $1 million over three years to its next Dallas Catalyst Project in Mill City, teaming up with Mill City Community Association, Builders of Hope Community Development Corporation, and Urban Specialists to address food insecurity, public safety, affordable housing, outdated infrastructure, and a lack of safe community gathering spaces and youth mentoring opportunities.
