July 1 through July 26, 26 volunteers from the Soundview Family YMCA will be running/swimming/biking/walking for 2.6 miles per day or doing some sort of physical exercise for 26 minutes, in memory of the 26 lives lost in the Sandy Hook tragedy.

Funds raised help us honor Chase Michael Anthony Kowalski by providing a FREE youth triathlon camp for kids aged 6-12. The Race4Chase program was created by the Kowalski Family in memory of their son Chase, one of the 26 people who tragically lost their lives at Sandy Hook.

Race4Chase is a six-week youth triathlon training program aimed to provide kids ages 6-12 with a safe and non-competitive environment to discover the sport of triathlon. Under the direction of dedicated and spirited coaches and coach volunteers Race4Chase brings together kids from different athletic abilities and backgrounds. At the culmination of camp, all youth athletes compete in a USAT sanctioned triathlon at YMCA Camp Sloper in Southington on Saturday, August 2ND.
