Why I’m Running

I’m running for the Saginaw Township Community Schools Board of Education because I believe students and teachers should remain at the center of every decision our district makes.

Strong schools require more than good intentions. They require listening, transparency, responsible stewardship, thoughtful decision-making, and a willingness to ask difficult questions when necessary.

I believe board members should be accessible to the community, open to different perspectives, and willing to look carefully at how district resources are being used. I also believe our teachers and staff deserve the support they need to do what they do best: educate and inspire our students.

What I Will Keep Working For

• Students First
Every decision should begin with what is best for students. Their education, their opportunities, their safety, and their future.

• Supporting Teachers & Staff
Strong schools depend on strong educators. Teachers and staff should be heard, respected, and supported.

• Responsible Stewardship
Taxpayer dollars should be spent carefully, transparently, and with a clear connection to the needs of students and schools.

• Transparency & Community Engagement
Families and community members deserve clear information, open communication, and a meaningful voice in the decisions affecting their schools.

Why Your Support Matters

I’m asking for your vote, but I’m also asking for your support in helping build a campaign focused on students, teachers, accountability, transparency, and every voice in our community.

Every contribution helps with the practical costs of reaching voters, including:

• Yard signs
• Printed campaign materials
• Community events
• Digital outreach
• Other campaign expenses

Thank you for supporting Jason Malik for STCS Board of Education.
