REEL East Texas Film Festival is an annual independent film showcase in Kilgore, Texas. The festival spotlights films and scripts by indie filmmakers from all over the world, introducing their work and local productions to the people of East Texas.

Founded in 2017, the festival has grown year after year, attracting filmmakers, actors, and film enthusiasts from across the country and around the globe. Our mid-November event features screenings of short- and feature-length films, a screenwriting competition and live reading plus panel discussions, workshops, networking events, and more in the heart of historic downtown Kilgore.
