Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am the Treasurer of the Junior League of Jacksonville and I am proud to be participating in my 6th Little Black Dress Initiative. During the week of February 21, 2022, I will be wearing the same black shirt (most people do dresses, but I'm chasing a toddler most of the day!) in an effort to bring awareness to food insecurity in Northeast Florida. Did you know that 1 out of 4 children is food insecure?
The Junior League of Jacksonville’s current community focus aims to combat food insecurity within Health Zone 1 in our community. Through our signature project Fresh Minds, we are providing access to nutrition education and affordable healthy foods through our meal kit initiative to the families at the Sanctuary on 8th Street. This initiative has resulted in the distribution of over 2,576 fresh, well-balanced meals to date. I would appreciate your support and donation to help support the Junior League of Jacksonville. The more we raise, the more we can do in furtherance of our mission. My personal goal is to raise $500 and every little bit helps. The more we raise, the more we can do.
Thank you in advance for your kind donation!
