JLT Fieldhouse, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Salisbury, NC, named in honor of Sgt. Maj. Joe Lewis Thompson, USMC (Ret.) — a Marine who lived by one simple principle:

"If you ever see that someone needs help, you do it — without hesitation and without any expectation of reward."

That is the foundation of everything we do.

What We Do

Through basketball camps, private coaching, life-skills programming, and mentorship, JLT Fieldhouse gives young people — grades 1 through 12, coed, all skill levels — the tools to grow on the court and in life. Our programs are built on the S.E.A. of Success® framework (Simplicity, Effort, Attitude) and include our 12-module Beyond the Classroom™ enrichment curriculum, which equips preteens and teens with the character, confidence, and leadership they need to succeed well beyond the gym.

We are led by Antwaun "Coach T®" Thompson — author, podcast host, Director of Basketball at Rockwell Christian School, and a youth mentor with nearly 40 years of coaching experience.
