What's happen' Family & Friends? School is back in session and Ms. Bin's 5th grade class is jivein' into our last year with our first and biggest fundraiser of the year --  the "Joaq-a-thon" (walk-a-thon). This fun "Disco" themed event will take place on September 28th with a goal of raising $70k for programs for the children that are not provided by the public school directly — library support, art classes, yard supervisors, PE/movement, academic tutors and field trips!

We'll boogie on down Joaquin Miller Lane in our cool threads and it will be Off the hook! While technically all the money goes to the same place, there is a fundraising competition amongst classrooms and any donation -- small or very large -- will be incredibly appreciated.
