Killington Mountain School is a place where student-athletes explore their full potential in academics, athletics and ultimately, life after college. Anchored by a close-knit community of driven peers and supportive faculty and coaches, Killington Mountain School helps student athletes make it to the top — at the world class venue that is Killington Mountain as well as in their own lives. Dedicated faculty and coaches deliver a personalized education that makes it possible to balance top-tier athletics and stellar academics without compromise.

A college preparatory school for over 50 years, KMS is an approved Vermont Independent School, accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Our curriculum emphasizes the development of critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity helping students forge connections between their learning and the “big picture.” Students benefit from small student-teacher ratios and a blended-learning model which enhance their ability to remain connected and engaged in their academics, whenever and wherever learning opportunities may exist.

KMS is a US Ski Team Gold Club and Center of Excellence and provides year-round programming using the best practices in youth sport development, firmly rooted in sport science. Serving grades 6-12 and Post-Graduate students with their academy offerings, our Full-Term, Winter-Term, and Boost Programs provide building-block choices for families as they partner with them in their child's athletic and academic journeys. For younger and aspiring athletes, KMS offers a robust Development Program, providing the foundation for a life-long love of winter sports.
