Traditionally, graduating seniors are asked to join the GWHS Alumni Association at a big discount off the normal Life Member fee - and a lot did, in the '60s, '70s and '80s...then, for a couple of reasons, the number of seniors who joined slowed to a crawl (with the exception of '06) until the 2010s. In fact, alums from '10 to '22 now make up over a quarter of our membership. But that means that a big part of Wash House isn't represented!

If you think social media is enough to stay in touch with your classmates and former teachers, we have one word for you: MySpace.

What you get for your one-time Life Member fee: 1) Alumni news by mail (2x/year), email (~8x/year) or both;  2) your membership enables us to provide reunion committees with more accurate class lists; and 3) you'll feel good about giving back - our funds go to classroom supplies, student activities and scholarships. That's it, there is no requirement for deeper involvement or more giving unless you want to.
