First Round Competition

Sunday, June 7
at Mekong Bistro

Bands and solo/duo acts will perform live before a panel of respected judges in a high-energy afternoon of outstanding regional blues talent.
Performance times will be determined based on the number of entrants, with competition concluding no later than 5:00 PM.

Finals

Friday, July 3
Aboard the Cruisin’ to Memphis Blues Cruise on the Portland Spirit

Top finalists will battle it out live on the river in front of a packed house during one of the summer’s most exciting blues events. Finalists must be available to board by 1:30 PM and will conclude by approximately 6:00 PM.

Why Enter?

Winning artists receive fundraising and travel support from the Cascade Blues Association to help get them to Memphis.

But beyond the trip? This competition offers:

Major exposure within the regional blues community
Valuable feedback from experienced judges
Networking with musicians, promoters, and fans
A serious credibility boost for your artist résumé

To Enter, You’ll Need:

• Primary contact name and contact info

• Full names of all act members

• Each member’s instrument/vocal role

• At least one active CBA member in the act

• Entry Fee (paid during online application) $55 Bands or $35 Solo/Duo
