Our Story.

On October 7th, from the Nova Peace Festival in southern Israel, David Newman sent this distressed message to his best friends:

"Pray for me, something terrible has happened."

In front of his girlfriend, Hamas terrorists shot David at point-blank range. A larger-than-life personality, with an infectious smile and huge heart, was ripped away from us. While David was protecting the ones he loved, we lost our best friend, forever. And so…

We decided to do something.

While searching for David in southern Israel, we saw, with our own eyes, that our country was completely unprepared for war. Our families were murdered in their homes, our soldiers lacked the equipment they suddenly needed, our neighbors were displaced from their homes, and our brothers and sisters were brutally slaughtered and kidnapped.

In response, David Newman's friends banded together and started Let's Do Something.
