🎉 JQES 50th Golden Jubilee & Family Reunion Homecoming Weekend 🎉

November 19–21, 2026 | Chinatown, Boston

Once a Dragon, always a Dragon!

Calling all JQES alumni, families, former and current educators, and community partners! This fall, we’re celebrating a remarkable milestone: 50 years at our home at 885 Washington Street!

For five decades, Josiah Quincy Elementary School has been a cornerstone of learning, culture, and community in the heart of Boston’s Chinatown. Generations of students, families, educators, and neighbors have helped shape the school we know and love today.

Now, it’s time to come home!

Join us for a special weekend of reconnection, reflection, celebration, and Dragon Pride as we honor our shared history, celebrate the people who make JQES extraordinary, and look ahead to the next 50 years.

Register today: November 19–21, 2026

From our annual F.I.R.E. Dragon Fundraiser to alumni gatherings, an evening celebration, and a family-friendly field day, there are many ways to be part of this historic homecoming.

Note: Givebutter automatically adds a "tip" to your transaction - you can reduce this prior to checking out (down to zero!). JQES and JQSA does not receive any of this tipped amount.

Thursday, November 19 | 179th JQES Dragon F.I.R.E. Fundraiser

5:30 PM | Empire Garden Restaurant

Kick off Jubilee weekend with our annual JQES Dragon F.I.R.E. Fundraiser! Join fellow supporters and community champions for an evening of celebration, gratitude, and community-building. This year, we’ll honor three pillar organizations - BCYF, BCNC, and SCCHC - whose collaboration helped bring JQES at 885 Washington Street to life as the Chinatown community hub it is today.
