A Legacy Beyond the Baseline: Bridging the Gap for Nigeria’s Future Champions

Imagine standing on a tennis court with a dream in your heart, but no strings in your racket and no shoes on your feet. For the young athletes of the Adewale Isa Foundation, this isn’t a metaphor—it is their daily reality.

Every young athlete deserves a chance to win on and off the court. That's why entry to the Adewale Isa Tournament is - and always will be - entirely free. This isn't just about tennis; it's a mission to honor Olympic coach Alhaji Adewale Isa. He knew the sport was a powerful engine for character, discipline and opportunity. We carry his torch today so a child's dream is never sidelined by finances.

Why Your Support Matters

The funds raised at this clinic directly power our flagship event: the 7th Annual Adewale Isa Foundation National Junior Tennis Tournament in Lagos, Nigeria (August 30 – September 5).

For six years, the Isa family has fully funded this tournament, allowing hundreds of children in U-12, U-14, and U-16 categories to compete, eat, and stay at zero cost. Your donation provides:

Scouting & Elevation: We identify Nigeria’s top emerging talent, providing them a national stage to be discovered.
Essential Gear: We provide winners at all levels with racquets and essential equipment so players can compete safely and with pride.
Global Pathways: U12 Winners receive life-changing opportunities, including training tours to the United States for elite international coaching.
Scholarships: We believe champions are built in the classroom, too. We provide academic scholarships to ensure our athletes become Nigeria’s next generation of leaders.

The Reality: Advantage Nigeria

In Nigeria, the odds are often stacked against young dreamers. By supporting this foundation, you are helping them overcome staggering obstacles:

Poverty: 63% of Nigerians live at or below the poverty line (World Bank)
Education: 20% of the world’s "out-of-school" children live in Nigeria (UNICEF)
Opportunity: The average worker earns just $1,780 per year (World Bank)

Your Serve

The goal is simple: to keep Coach Adewale Isa's dream alive by unleashing future champions—not just as athletes, but as scholars. We believe true success happens when a child has the tools to lead long after they leave the court.

Join us in turning intention into impact. Help us reach our goal to power the 7th Annual Tournament and keep the legacy of Adewale Isa serving for years to come.
