Dorcas Destiny International — Transforming Lives in Kenya

About us
Dorcas Destiny International partners with local leaders and schools in Nairobi slums and Migori County to provide nutrition, education, emergency support, and long-term care for vulnerable children and women. Our mission is simple: build relationships that deliver tangible, lasting change.

Sponsor a Child in Kenya — $30 a Month

For just $30 a month, you can help a child living in poverty in Kenya receive the educational support they need to remain in school and keep moving toward a better future.

Dorcas Destiny International works with children and families who often struggle to meet even basic educational expenses. Many of the families we serve are led by widows or single mothers, and some children are orphans or living in extremely difficult circumstances.

Your monthly sponsorship helps provide educational support for your sponsored child while also strengthening the school environment that makes their education possible.

Your $30 monthly sponsorship helps support:

School admission, enrollment, examination and other educational fees

Uniforms, shoes and necessary school clothing

Books, notebooks and other learning materials

School meals where provided through DDI-supported programs

Teacher and school support that helps keep children in the classroom

Educational and enrichment opportunities available through the child's school

Special school-related needs when approved by DDI

Sponsorship is more than paying a school bill. It is a partnership.

You will be connected with a child and receive information about the child you are helping, including a photograph and updates on their educational progress. DDI requires participating families to provide their child's grades or school progress report at the end of every school term so that we can follow the child's progress and share meaningful updates with sponsors.

We also ask parents and guardians to take an active role. Sponsorship is designed to assist families—not replace their responsibility for their children. Families agree to encourage regular school attendance, care for uniforms and school supplies, protect their children's educational materials, and support their children's learning at home.

Sponsorship is $30 per month / $360 per year and may be given monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

Your sponsorship can help a child stay in school, learn, grow and see possibilities beyond their present circumstances.

Become a child sponsor today and find your place in their story.
