Campaign Information

By reaching our campaign goal, we will be able to provide an additional client-centered, holistic trial-level representation for accused people who cannot afford nor have the system provide adequate counsel, therefore stuck in Harris County Jail.

We will be able to provide a dedicated Client Advocate to help our clients and family navigate the strain of the legal system throughout their case and in the post-case transition. We recognize the potential trauma of the uncertainty and pressures caused by living with a pending criminal case and will work with our clients to provide loving support through this unknown season.

We will provide our clients with introductions and referrals to partnership social services in hopes to provide additional empowering tools to each unique client and family during the legal system journey and beyond.

About Restoring Justice

Restoring Justice is the only 501(c)(3) NPO operating in Texas to assist marginalized communities with holistic legal support, bail bonds, social services and trauma care. We believe holistic, loving, and client-centered representation by the local community is the only solution to mass incarceration.

We fight for the right to prevent unnecessary and wrongful incarceration while changing fear-based perceptions in our system to love-based hope. We provide individualized care to lift people out of our system, while simultaneously reforming our system to one of restorative justice, based in making communities whole again.
