Kendall Brown, a senior Exercise Science Student-Athlete at the University of Pittsburgh is hosting a sport equipment donation giveaway in partnership with C. Howard Fitness, the Kingsley Association, and the Community Wellness Initiative of Pittsburgh. Please consider supporting this project for Kendall’s last semester in school by providing sports equipment or cash donations to be used for purchasing sports equipment for the youth of Pittsburgh. Her goal is to provide the youth of Pittsburgh with equipment so they can have opportunities to be successful in athletics.

Sports play a crucial role in youth development, offering kids a healthy outlet for physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth. Unfortunately, many children in our community lack access to the proper equipment needed to participate in these activities. Our goal is to bridge that gap by collecting donations to provide items such as basketballs, soccer balls, baseballs, softballs, footballs, volleyballs, cleats, gloves, bats, helmets, etc.

We would be incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make, whether it is through the donation of new or gently used sports equipment suitable for ages 8-18 or financial support to help us purchase these much-needed items. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of young athletes, giving them the tools to stay active, build confidence, and be successful.

Contributions will be collected during our Donation Drive Event on Saturday, April 19 from 9 - 11 a.m. at The Kingsley Association (6435 Frankstown Avenue , Pittsburgh, PA 15206).
