Our mission has always been to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate, with a significant focus on aiding Ukrainian refugees and local families facing hardships.

Since our inception, GWM's Food Bank has been a vital source of nourishment, providing over 30,000 meals monthly. This feat has been possible due to the tireless efforts of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors. Our logistics involve nightly pickups from various warehouses stretching from Seattle to Tacoma, ensuring that those in need receive timely assistance.

However, we find ourselves at a critical juncture. The program's sustainability is in jeopardy without immediate financial support. Our current challenge revolves around the need for two refrigerated containers, which are crucial for the storage and sorting of donated food. With the summer time approaching and the temperatures increasing, we will not be able to continue to support the 150 families that we serve on a weekly and biweekly basis.

We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for financial support. We aim to raise $50,000 to purchase and install these containers and the needed refrigeration equipment. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of over 150 families we serve weekly and biweekly, many of whom are refugees from the ongoing war in Ukraine.
