In 2024, the Lord placed it on my heart to visit Nicaragua four times—once each quarter. During my first trip, He began revealing His heart for the nation, highlighting the people's need for basic necessities and showing me how we could plant seeds of love through acts of provision.

My second trip was a season of discouragement—I felt inadequate and struggled with evangelism. But on the third trip, the breakthrough came. I shared the gospel with my neighbor, and to my surprise, he surrendered his life to Jesus. Within two days, we baptized him at the beach.

This radical transformation stirred my heart, and I reached out to Pastor Edson from Mexico—the closest Spanish-speaking pastor with whom my wife and I had a strong relationship. His excitement over what God was doing led to the fourth trip, where he joined us for a five-day mission. On that final trip of the year, we encouraged local leaders, prayed over mothers and children, interceded for the nation, and sensed the Lord leading us to return with a team from Mexico to host three days of worship and prayer.

The Lord has placed it on our hearts to return to Nicaragua and bring a team of 11 MISSIONARIES from Mexico. Pastor Edson Saucedo, from Tierra Prometida Monte Maria Church, will lead the mission in collaboration with Delafé Testimonies. We would and appreciate support to take care of flights, on the ground transportation, and a food budget to buy all the groceries needed for the 5 days. The lodging will be taken care of by Pastor Moreno, Nicaraguan Pastor, and my Mom, who currently lives there :)

Budget Breakdown

$6,041.51 for FLIGHTS (This will cover the flights for the 11 missionaries from Mexico and Eric Villatoro, executive director of Mission Delafe)

$400 for Transportation (The church we will be visiting is 3 hours away from the airport)

$700 for Food (The local community will be cooking for the team, but considering the economic state of the country, we would like to support as much as possible)

$100 to support transportation costs for other ministries in low-income communities to attend the events.
