🌺 Kaua‘i JoyLab: A Living Laboratory of Holistic Well-Being

What if, despite our sorrows, joy is the truest expression of our being?

We create pathways to joy by turning suffering into wisdom and pain into resilience. Through creativity, knowledge, community, and support, we share practical tools that help people cultivate holistic well‑being and lasting joy.

Since 2019, Fit for Joy online (https://fitforjoy.org/) has empowered thousands to rediscover joy, providing accessible programs and resources including our "A Quest for Well-Being" podcast, "The Freedom to Feel" video series, and a wealth of educational content.

In 2025, we started our first JoyLab program on Kaua'i under Fit for Joy: Garden of Well-Being (501(c)3, EIN 33-4087367). It's a nature-centered space that connects visionaries and well-being practitioners to serve those in need, share expertise, pilot storytelling programs, and scale interventions in healing, resilience, and ecological stewardship.

We need your support in launching one of our most impactful initiatives: the JOYLAB Storytelling program, dedicated to joyful living and teen suicide prevention.

We envision a world where joy is an innate part of life for everyone, particularly teens. Our programs provide the tools, spaces, and community to cultivate mental health, resilience, happiness, and inner peace. Each initiative serves as a pathway to joy, and one of the most pressing is our upcoming JOYLAB Conference—a vital resource for fostering joyful, purposeful lives among teens.

Our efforts draw inspiration from thought leaders who are also our board members and collaborators, such as Dr. Christine Silverstein and Dr. Jeffrey Karp, whose work empowers and invigorates our mission.

Together, we can make joy accessible to everyone through evidence-based pathways delivered via education, life-changing experiences, and community.

Donations have been and will be allocated to our fundraising JOYLAB workshops and conferences with the intention to secure our FIT FOR JOY facility on Kauai.
