Long before Zeke Buckhaults and Stu Schayot took on the responsibility of carrying the Crescent forward, the venue had been loved, championed, and fought for by people who understood that places like this matter.

Through uncertainty, setbacks, changes, and plenty of behind-the-scenes challenges, they kept coming back to a bigger question: What else could the Crescent Theater become?

Over the past year, we've started to find out.

We've seen how this community's support can transform what happens inside this little theater. And we're just getting started.

More performers stepping onto this stage. More community events. More nights spent shoulder-to-shoulder with friends and strangers, experiencing something new together.

That's exciting for the Crescent, but it's even more exciting for Mobile!

Entertainment doesn't exist in a vacuum. Every great show gives people another reason to come downtown, stay downtown, support the businesses around us, and experience something happening right here in our city.
