Support Creative Justice: Keepin It 100 Campaign

Theme: Abolition is (still) the answer!

Welcome to Keepin It 100, Creative Justice’s annual call to community for a month of shared learning, action, and grassroots fundraising. Grounded in the spirit of Black History Month, our campaign centers the principles and practices of Black abolitionists who have and are laying the foundation for a world beyond carceral systems.

Our vision is to move beyond traditional philanthropy and build an interdependent, creative economy where prevention, healing, care, and accountability are shared collaborative work. This year, our organizational goal is to raise $50,000 to stabilize Creative Justice's work as a grassroots community arts and healing abolitionist organization. To reach this, we are looking for 50 teams to raise $1,000 each through collective power.

What’s Happening This February

Participants join a "learning community" for the month of February. Throughout the campaign, you will receive:

Weekly "Curriculum": Creative Justice sends out weekly materials—including activities, articles, videos, and podcasts—highlighting abolition!
Weekly "Power Hour" Webinars: Every Wednesday in February from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM PST, we gather to learn from those doing work within an abolitionist framework and discuss the self-study curriculum in community.

Weekly Virtural Power Hour Schedule:

7:00–7:15 PM: Fundraising updates, news, and community information.
7:15–8:00 PM: Speaker Series featuring guest facilitators.
8:00–8:30 PM: Team Debriefs and connection time to process the curriculum together.

2026 Speaker Lineup:

Feb 4: Abolition 101 with nikkita oliver.
Feb 11: Edwin Lindo of Estelita's Library.
Feb 18: Devon Adams local restorative justice practitioner.
Feb 25: Jesse Hagopian local oraganizer of BLM in Schools & Scrap the Map.

Culminating Event: On February 28, 2026, join us at Washington Hall from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM for our annual Arts Action Event. We will eat, connect, and create art together, including an auction of original art!

Are you willing to be a team captain?

We are looking for 50 team captains to lead the way by hitting a $1,000 fundraising goal.

Being a team captain means you sign-up below, you attend at Team Captain Training, and you invite folks to join your Keepin It 100 team for the month of February!

We will how team captain trainings. You only need to attend one (1). They will be 1 hour each.

At Creative Justice, we’re envisioning new opportunities to care for youth rather than locking them away.

Youth—the people most impacted by the juvenile justice system—work in collaboration with artists, lawyers, mentors, and family members to create solutions. We believe that the system needs to be fixed, not our youth.

Since launching in 2015, Creative Justice participants have made real, lasting impact on their communities. They’ve participated in over 250 hours of intensive art programming, formed a Youth Leadership Board, and exhibited their work in multiple public settings.

Your support of Creative Justice helps us buy art supplies, rent space, pay our artists and mentors, ease the financial burden on court-involved youth, and so much more. Whether you donate—at any amount—or buy a piece of artwork by a Creative Justice participant, you help get us closer to a world where youth are no longer incarcerated.
