For over 50 years, The Nutcracker has been one of Wichita’s most beloved holiday traditions — and what makes Ballet Wichita’s production truly special is the sound of live symphony music filling the concert hall.

This year, we need your help to keep the music alive.

We’re raising $30,000 by December 1 to fund the live orchestra that brings The Nutcracker to life. There’s nothing quite like hearing Tchaikovsky’s iconic score performed in real time — every note, every crescendo, every magical moment shared between dancers and musicians on stage.

Each Ballet Wichita dancer is helping make it happen through our Keep the Music Alive dancer challenge. You can support your favorite dancer by choosing a number on their calendar and donating that amount. Every gift brings us one step closer to filling the hall with music once again.
