About the Initiative

City in the Community (CITC), the nonprofit proudly supported by New York City FC, has partnered with The Third Rail to power the Foundation’s Player Ambassador Program. In 2026, NYCFC players Matt Freese, Kevin O’Toole, and Keaton Parks will serve as Player Ambassadors, helping drive community impact across New York City.

Why Donate?

Donations directly support the community projects and initiatives championed by the Player Ambassadors and executed in partnership with The Third Rail. Funds help turn the players’ ideas and passions into meaningful action, ensuring their community-focused projects have the resources needed to be successfully planned, delivered, and sustained.

How Your Donation Helps

Your contribution will:

Fund player-led community projects across New York City
Support The Third Rail’s execution of volunteer and service initiatives
Help bring together players, supporters, and local communities around causes that matter
Ensure the Player Ambassadors can make a tangible impact beyond the field

Through this partnership, supporters have a unique opportunity to help NYCFC players create lasting change in the communities they care about, while strengthening the connection between the Club, its fans, and New Yorkers across all five boroughs.
