Why We’re Coming Together

The Key Biscayne Inclusion & Disability Symposium was created to bring families, professionals, advocates, and community members together in one welcoming space to learn, connect, share resources, and grow together.

Navigating the different stages of life for a person with a disability can come with many questions. Where do families turn for support? What educational resources are available? How do we prepare for adulthood? What should families know about advocacy, legal guardianship, estate planning, financial planning, therapy, medical care, and other important services?

Sometimes the hardest part is simply knowing where to begin and who to ask.

This symposium brings knowledgeable professionals, organizations, advocates, and families together to share practical information, answer questions, and connect our community with valuable resources.

Throughout the event, moderated panel discussions will explore topics including education, adulthood and support services, advocacy, legal and estate planning, financial planning, therapy, medical care, community resources, and more.

Most importantly, this is an opportunity to build connections—with experts, with resources, and with one another.
