In February 2028, I will climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route, all the way to Uhuru Peak, 5,895 meters above sea level, to raise funds and awareness for CAMK2 Therapeutics Network.

I am paying for the entire expedition myself. Every dollar given here goes directly to CAMK2 and its mission.

Why CAMK2

CAMK2 is a group of four genes that play a key role in how the brain and heart work. A change in one of these genes can lead to CAMK2-related disorders. These show up differently in each person and can include developmental delays, seizures, low muscle tone, and speech and movement challenges. Scientists are still learning how these gene changes affect people over time.

CAMK2 Therapeutics Network is a family-led, collaborative research initiative and a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It works to improve the lives of people affected by CAMK2-related disorders by:

Educating families, clinicians, and scientists
Expanding access to diagnosis, research, and expert care
Accelerating treatments through strategic partnerships
