Resurgens is Latin for "rising again." It's Atlanta's motto, and it sits on the city seal beside a phoenix because Atlanta burned during the Civil War and rebuilt. We're borrowing it this year because it fits.

This is Kinnara's twentieth year. Earlier this year we sat down with our finances and had hard conversations about whether we could keep going. We decided we could, and a big reason was you. When we asked for help in our campaign earlier this year, you gave, and it made the difference.

So this year is about rebuilding, one step at a time. We're committing to our Christmas program, with two nights on December 21 and 22 in Athens and Decatur. We'll hire singers once the money is raised. We'd rather build slowly and pay people properly than promise more than we can deliver.

We need $15,000 to make Christmas happen. Kinnara has no building and a very small staff, so nearly all of it goes to the singers.

If Christmas goes well, we're starting to plan a summer concert too. Christmas comes first. If you'd like to give toward what's next, we'll gladly put it to use and tell you what it made possible.

Thank you for twenty years of listening, giving, and showing up. We'd love to have you with us for the next twenty.

Give in honor of 20 years: $20 · $200 · $2,000 · $20,000

With gratitude,
