Deeply rooted in Polk County, April is a staunch believer that an empowered community is built on opportunity and accessibility. To her, READ Lakeland’s mission is vital: equipping adults with the gift of literacy unlocks economic mobility, self-reliance, and the ability to inspire the next generation.
