The Story of Our 6th Annual Teddy Bear Drive 🧸💛

Every year, as Valentine’s Day approaches, we’re reminded that love doesn’t always look like flowers or candy. Sometimes, love looks like a brand-new teddy bear—soft, safe, and ready to be hugged tight.

This is the heart behind our 6th Annual Teddy Bear Drive.

We are collecting new teddy bears (and other adorable stuffed animals) to donate to HELPIS, a registered nonprofit dedicated to spreading kindness and supporting children and families facing hardship. HELPIS will deliver these bears to children in Boston hospitals who are fighting cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as to children living in homeless shelters.

A teddy bear may seem small.
But to a child facing the unimaginable, it can mean everything.

It can be:
✨ comfort on the hard days
✨ courage during frightening moments
✨ a gentle reminder that they are not alone

For a child in a hospital room, a bear can become a steady companion through treatments, long nights, and unfamiliar surroundings. For a child in a shelter, it can be a sense of safety and a piece of home they can carry with them. It’s more than a toy—it’s something they can hold onto when life feels uncertain.

This year, our goal is ambitious because the need is real:

That’s 1,500 moments of comfort.
1,500 hugs.
1,500 children feeling seen and loved.
