Meeting Communities Where They Are

Access to essential resources should not depend on whether a family has reliable transportation or can travel across the Valley to find support. Across Arizona, individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, food insecurity, housing instability, and other challenges often face an additional barrier: getting to the resources available to help them.

Desert Knights Foundation, Inc. created Knights on the Move to remove that barrier by taking resources directly into the communities we serve.

The Current Challenge

Community organizations can collect supplies, develop programs, and build strong partnerships, but without reliable transportation, getting those resources to the people who need them becomes difficult.

For Desert Knights Foundation, this challenge directly affects our ability to expand student support, distribute food and household necessities, assist veterans and military families, participate in community events, and respond to emerging needs throughout Arizona.

As a growing nonprofit, establishing reliable mobile outreach capacity will allow us to serve more individuals, strengthen partnerships, and respond where the need is greatest.

Our Strategic Vision

Knights on the Move will establish a mobile community outreach resource capable of transporting and distributing essential items throughout Arizona. Your contribution will support the following organizational objectives:

Mobile Resource Distribution: Delivering food, household essentials, hygiene products, school supplies, and other necessities directly into underserved communities.
Student & Family Support: Expanding programs such as Equipped for Learning while allowing us to reach students and families who may otherwise have difficulty accessing assistance.
Veteran & Military Family Outreach: Transporting resources and supplies to veterans, service members, and military families throughout the communities we serve.
Community Partnerships: Increasing our ability to collaborate with schools, nonprofits, businesses, faith based organizations, and community partners during outreach events and resource distributions.
Emergency & Community Response: Giving Desert Knights Foundation the transportation capacity needed to mobilize supplies when families or communities experience unexpected hardship.

Your Investment in Mobility

Our $50,000 goal will help Desert Knights Foundation acquire and outfit a reliable pre owned cargo vehicle specifically for community outreach.

Funding will support approximately $38,000 toward vehicle acquisition and outfitting, $4,000 for secure storage and organization systems, $3,000 for food safe transportation equipment, $3,000 for inventory and impact tracking technology, and $2,000 for mobile distribution and safety equipment.

When you support Knights on the Move, you are investing in more than a vehicle. You are helping build the infrastructure that allows our organization to consistently show up, deliver resources, and reach people where they are.

Join Our Commitment to Service

Desert Knights Foundation, Inc. was founded on the belief that meaningful impact begins by showing up for people.

Knights on the Move will allow us to put that belief into action by taking our programs beyond a single location and directly into Arizona communities.

Every contribution brings us one step closer to putting the wheels under the mission.

We invite you to join us as we Lead. Serve. Impact. throughout the communities that need us most.
