Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity. The money we raise will be equally divided between Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels.

In 2021 we, the knitters, raised $265,810!! We raised a quarter of a million dollars with our knitting needles!! Can you even believe that?!

There are two ways to support the Knit-a-thon: You can sign up to knit/craft for 12 hours OR you can donate! To sign up, simply click the JOIN THE KNIT-A-THON button, set up a profile and start fundraising! To donate just click the DONATE button.

A zoom link will be sent to participants who raise $100 or more before February 12th.

Meals on Wheels- Today, the average life expectancy is at a record high of 79 years. As we get older, even the most independent among us may experience physical declines or financial hardship that strips away our independence. Add to that an increase in geographic mobility of our families, and the result is millions of seniors left behind, hungry and alone.
