Numbers of folks visiting food banks is going up. I can see where this trend is headed and want to do something to bolster the safety net for all of us.
I have been the single parent needing extra help than my full-time job to feed my family. These organizations do a tremendous job serving families in need of a hand to make it through a month.
This is my 4th time participating in Knit For Food, and it is my favorite day of the year to join a community of knitters and receive knitting yoga, laughs, as well as updates about what these great orgs are doing in our society.

If you donated to a team, you were not sent a link as you haven't been fundraising. We encourage everyone to sign up as a team member and spread the word about knit for food!
