Meet Freda 💔➡️❤️

After years of having litter after litter, this sweet mama was dumped and left behind. Freda was pulled as a stray from the Prince George’s shelter when she stopped eating and began refusing medication. Despite everything she’s endured, she is gentle, loving, and still trying.

Freda is currently battling a respiratory infection, and once she’s stable, we’ll begin diagnosing her other health concerns — including mobility issues and a lump on her head. We don’t yet know how extensive or costly her care will be, but what we do know is this:

UPDATE 1/5/26: DOUBLE EAR INFECTION, HIGH LIVER ENZYMES. FOLLOWUP FOR LUMP BIOPSY

1/20 STILL WORKING ON HER EAR INFECTION AND GETTING HER RIGHT.

2/2: STILL SHOWING SIGNS OF EAR INFECTION, SO TREATING AGAIN. BLOOD LOOKS BETTER AND BIOPSY DONE.

2/16: INDETERMINATE LUMP AND CONTINUED EAR INFECTION.
