Wine Down With Kota! Support Kota's first fundraiser event of 2021 and join us with a glass of wine for a fun virtual tasting led by our partners at One Stone Cellars & Ancient Peaks Winery.

The Kota Alliance is an umbrella organization focused on improving gender equality and supporting women-centered organizations. This event is in parallel with the launch of Kota Academy, which provides Workforce Development and Entrepreneurship & Health and Wellness classes to underserved women in the community.

Kota is partnering with One Stone Cellars, a women-owned and focused winery, to deliver wine packages to your home (please click on Donate & Tickets to see package options). Each package comes with a list of suggested wine and food pairings; each ticket purchase includes a spot in our guided virtual wine-tasting. The states that we currently ship to are: AL, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NH, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, VT, WI, WV, WY.

Campaign

Welcome to the Kota Alliance family! The Kota Alliance is an umbrella organization elevating collaboration across borders for women-centered nonprofits, NGOs, social enterprises and entrepreneurs, that share the like-minded goal of improving gender equality and supporting women.

We are a growing non-profit with a network of women-focused organizations in New York and internationally. As a smaller non-profit, we primarily rely on small grants, fundraisers, and donations for funding. Our goal is to raise $10,000 through our fundraiser / giving campaign to jumpstart our Kota Academy program, where we provide workforce development and skills training to underserved women both locally and abroad. Kota is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible - you will be emailed a donation receipt once the transaction is complete. For ticket purchases, your contribution over $55 (cost of supplies) will be tax-deductible.

If you are unable to attend the event, you may click "Donate & Tickets" --> "No thanks, I'd just like to donate" and make a direct contribution to Kota. If you plan to attend the wine tasting event and would like to donate additionally over the ticket price, you will have the option to add a donation at check out. Many companies offer donation matching, which can double the impact of your donation (more details at the very bottom of page).

All Friends, Patrons, and Sponsors (Donors of over $600+) will be invited to our Annual Reception with the Board and Advisory Board.

In our 5 years amplifying women's voices and growing our partner network, we have:

We offer a broad scope of training programs in employment sectors that most typically impacts women in marginalized communities. Participation in the programs and collaboration with the community will help women build a long- term network and gain access they have historically lacked.
