This annual gathering brings together advocates, community organizations, and partners who are working to support immigrant communities across Connecticut. The evening highlights collaboration across sectors while recognizing individuals whose work has strengthened our communities. Funds from the evening help to maintain our programs and fill major gaps in funding.

The organization is named after Fereshteh’s daughter Elena, whose name means ‘light’ in Dari/Farsi, and signifies the hope and opportunity that many refugees and immigrants leave their homes to find. Fereshteh is one of many refugees who share a similar story. With your support, Fereshteh and her team can provide hope for a better future for many other women in our community.
