LocTup Together are Chris Lock and Ian Tupling (hence the name), a duo from England, both originating from Yorkshire but now living close to Liverpool. They first met in a local folk club and soon realised that they enjoyed singing together. They have now clocked up over thirty years of being a duo and travelling all over Europe performing at folk and maritime festivals.

Their repertoire is varied, their voices are powerful and there is nothing they enjoy more than to hear an audience join in the choruses. Chris and Ian both play guitar and ukulele and their style of singing is close-harmony. Their songs encompass both traditional and contemporary folk songs, some self-penned and a few humorous ones thrown in for good measure but above all they believe that a sense of humour and a good connection with an audience is the key to enjoyment and they certainly have a sense of fun in their sets.

However, it is as singers of maritime songs and shanties that they are best known and, both as LocTup Together and as part of the acapella group Four 'n' Aft, they have performed at most of the major maritime festivals in the UK and across Europe.
