Night #1

Title/Theme: Families in Adventure
Description: Kick off LaCrosseAF with a celebration of the bonds that shape our journeys. From parents and kids to couples, close friends, and four-legged companions, tonight’s films highlight the beautiful, messy, and inspiring world of shared adventures. Come early to explore an exclusive gallery of Driftless Region art created by our own community members, showcasing how local adventurers flex their creative muscles and envision the great outdoors with the ones they love.

Night #2

Date: Thursday, Oct. 15th
Venue: Mt. La Crosse Chalet
Title/Theme: Storytelling and Shredding
Description: Two wheels, two skis, and vertical limits. Gather at the base of Mt. La Crosse for an evening dedicated to gravity-defying pursuits and the culture of the slopes and singletracks. Featuring a mix of live adventure storytelling and high-octane films, tonight is all about celebrating the thrill of the shred and the tight-knit community that lives for the descent.

Night #3

Date: Friday, Oct 16th
Venue: Coulee Arts
Title/Theme: Adventure in the Elements
Description: An immersive evening designed to deepen our appreciation for the earth, wind, fire, and water through the spirit of adventure. Centered on the idea that time spent outdoors connects us all, this curated experience invites audiences to explore the elements that shape both the natural world and our shared human experience.Beyond the films, the theater itself becomes part of the story. Footage of each element will play on side screens, immersing the audience in the landscapes and moods that define the next film. Thoughtfully designed lighting transitions will further transform the space, creating a seamless journey through each element and enhancing the emotional experience of the evening.

Night #4

Date: Saturday, Oct 17th
Venue: Rivoli Theatre & Pizzeria
Title/Theme: The Adventure Gala (Main Stage)
Description: The grand finale of LaCrosseAF 2026. The historic Rivoli Theatre transforms into the epicenter of the Midwest adventure scene for a two-hour cinematic expedition. Experience the world’s best independent adventure films, ranging from 2-minute adrenaline spikes to 30-minute deep-dives into human grit. Best of all, the power is in your hands—use our live interactive voting to crown this year's champions. If you have a pulse and a passion for the outdoors, this is your main stage.
