Colombia Needs Us: Support Patrulla Aérea Colombiana

On August 10, 2026, a powerful earthquake struck western Colombia, affecting communities across the country, including Bogotá, Cali, and other areas. As emergency crews respond, some of the communities most in need are also among the hardest to reach.

When disaster strikes or a community is too remote for an ambulance to reach, Patrulla Aérea Colombiana (PAC) flies in doctors, surgeons, medical supplies, and care that can save lives.

LaFamilia is stepping up. One of our own founders, based in Colombia and running DocoKids, is on the ground helping ensure support reaches the people who need it.

The First Few Hours Matter

Emergency response starts now. Our goal is to send our first donation by August 12. Every gift we receive helps us move closer to that goal and get support where it is needed as quickly as possible. Every gift, big or small, can help fund a medical flight, emergency care, a surgery, or a life changed.

El 10 de agosto de 2026, un fuerte terremoto sacudió el occidente de Colombia, afectando a comunidades en diferentes partes del país, incluyendo Bogotá, Cali y otras zonas. Mientras los equipos de emergencia responden, algunas de las comunidades que más necesitan ayuda también son las más difíciles de alcanzar.

Cuando ocurre un desastre o una comunidad está demasiado lejos para que llegue una ambulancia, Patrulla Aérea Colombiana (PAC) lleva médicos, cirujanos, suministros y atención médica que puede salvar vidas.

LaFamilia está dando un paso al frente. Uno de nuestros fundadores, quien vive en Colombia y dirige DocoKids, está en el terreno ayudando a asegurar que el apoyo llegue a quienes lo necesitan.

Las primeras horas son importantes

La respuesta a esta emergencia ya comenzó. Nuestro objetivo es enviar nuestra primera donación antes del 12 de agosto. Cada donación, grande o pequeña, puede ayudar a hacer posible un vuelo médico, atención de emergencia, una cirugía o cambiar una vida.
