Help launch a new arts and event space in the heart of Sebastopol.

The Vision

Imagine a warehouse loft space that you might find in SF SOMA or in NYC, but located right here in heart of Sebastopol - next to The Barlow and the Laguna de Santa Rosa. A modern, innovative space that will support emerging talent and provide a platform for creative growth. A space at the cross section of art, music, movement, tech, ecology, and education. A space for both youth and adult programming. A space to expand culture and community. A place to take creative risks and splatter paint. A Space to Create.

Simply put, Laguna Lab will be a launchpad for the creative future of Sebastopol.

Progress to Date

We have secured the lease to the space (no small feat!). We have held a handful of initial art, yoga and music events including a full capacity crowd for a Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) Tribute. The community response had been overwhelmingly positive with a consistent sentiment of “this is exactly what Sebastopol needs!"

We are actively building symbiotic relationships with key community organizations including Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Peacetown, Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, Creative Sonoma, The Livery, and more.

Other progress of note: Our 501c3 application is submitted and pending approval. Oh yeah, we also released some frogs we found in the warehouse back to their native home of The Laguna de Santa Rosa.

There are no overhead costs - no dilution of funds.
