Our Mission:
We believe music should be accessible no matter who you are, regardless of socioeconomic status, and this is our way of making that possible and sustainable: To provide an event series centered around community and connection that highlights local, regional, and national independent musical artists, and pairs them with local caterers, restaurants and chefs in a safe, inclusive environment. In the spirit of promoting art, community, diversity, equity, and inclusion, we are sustained through ticket sales for the dinner portion of the event, volunteers and consistent private and corporate donor streams which allows the concert portion of the event to be by-donation, making it accessible to all.

Our Why:
How the world is accessing music and food is changing ~ make reservations months in advance to fight traffic, find parking, and rush through dinner only to repeat that process after dinner in the hopes you'll get to the show on time. Meanwhile, there's so much delineation and separation that feels almost by design, that we're expected to accept, because it's how it's always been. There are so many lost opportunities of real connection and community in this process that the Lakeshore Community Event Series is set out to change.

What to Expect ~ a ticketed, limited seating, elevated dining experience with the artist around a "family style" meal, surrounded by people from all walks of life, connected by the artist of the night and/or the caterer of the evening, sharing stories like you would at your family table... all in one place. Far too rarely does the Dining/Concert going experience highlight both the culinary and listening experience equally. LCES strives to create that enviroment in one place, giving the dining experience its due credit separately from the listening room concert. After dinner, the diners will enjoy a pre-show acoustic tune or two and preferential seating before we open the 90 (ish) minute concert to the public by donation, making the listening room experience accessible to all. Welcome to the Lakeshore Community Event Series! Please NOTE: we get it. Life happens, and having access and being accessible is important. We just ask that if you must keep a phone handy, that it is on vibrate as to not take away from your listening experience or that of others. Thank you!
