Popular music often glamorizes wealth, or highlights the struggle to overcome financial hardship. Join the Lakeside Pride Jazz Orchestra as we explore these themes, performing Depression-era big band jazz, ’70s funk to modern pop hits—all with an LGBTQ twist!

A cash/credit bar is available before and during the show. Proceeds benefit the Center on Halsted.

SEASON DESCRIPTION

Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles welcomes you to our 28th season - “Reflections.”

The LGBTQ+ community knows a thing or two about introspection. As we come out, we unlearn countless norms thrust upon us and encounter our queer community’s vibrant culture. This process of becoming gives birth to our unique personas. Even in a world of unrest and uncertainty, we rely on our strong sense of self and community. Together, we assert ourselves and proudly declare our humanity.

TICKET INFORMATION

Our ticket options have changed! Lakeside Pride has created two ticket options to both maintain our operations and continue offering affordable tickets to those who need them. Both ticket prices allow you the same entry and seating privileges to our shows.

$10 Discounted General Admission tickets

Whether you are a student or senior, or your budget is tight right now, our cheaper ticket option is available to you without question asked.

PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY

Street Parking - ParkChicago, note that the Whole Foods Parking Garage may close down before the concert ends. Cars may not be able to leave the lot after hours.

ADA accessible, and a path from the street to the performance space is available. Center on Halsted does have an elevator that will reach the auditorium on the third floor.

All-gender restrooms are available on site.
