About the Workshop

A Lifelong Learning event aimed toward MFT folks looking to start their own private practice. This workshop, facilitated by Dr. La'Shonda Fletcher, LMFT, MAR, will equip Marriage and Family Therapists with the essential administrative, clinical, and business foundations required to successfully launch a private practice.

Participants will gain clarity on licensure considerations, documentation systems, and ethical compliance specific to systemic practice. The training will also address credentialing, fee setting, insurance paneling, and overhead costs and expenses. Attendees will learn how to develop referral pipelines, define a niche, and position their services within a competitive behavioral health market.

By the conclusion of this session, clinicians will leave with a clear understanding of how to launch a private practice.

Register by March 4, 2026 to attend either in-person or online.

Cost to Attend

Registration is $50 per person.

MFT CEU Credits Available

Participation in this hybrid workshop can count for two MFT CEUs. You will be required to fill out an evaluation survey at an allotted time during the workshop and submit it to qualify for the CEU credits. Your certificate will then be mailed to you.
