At Hollywood Food Coalition, we believe that meeting basic needs with dignity is at the heart of effective care, and few things are more essential, yet harder to access for our guests, than clean clothes.

That’s why our Laundry Voucher Initiative, offered through our Community Wellness program, is one of our most requested and valued services. We’re proud to be one of only two programs in Hollywood offering laundry vouchers - the other being UCLA’s Mobile Clinic, which can only provide 10 per week. The need far exceeds the supply.

Being able to wash and dry clothes (and blankets) is about more than hygiene, it's about health, self-worth, and opportunity. Clean clothes help people stay warm, prevent skin infections, and feel confident navigating daily life, whether they’re going to appointments, job interviews, or just trying to get through the day.
