Lewis County Young Professionals (LCYP) is proud to announce the launch of LEAD Lewis County, a new leadership development program designed to cultivate informed, connected, and engaged leaders committed to the future of Lewis County.

LEAD Lewis County, representing Learn, Engage, Advance, and Develop, is a nine-month cohort experience that will provide participants with immersive learning opportunities, meaningful relationships, and a deeper understanding of the industries, institutions, and issues that shape our region.

The program is designed for emerging and established leaders who live or work in Lewis County and are committed to personal growth, professional development, and community involvement. Participants will engage in monthly sessions focused on leadership development, economic vitality, government, education, healthcare, public safety, agriculture, and other key sectors that contribute to the success of our communities.

"Leadership development is an investment in the future of Lewis County," said Gavin Gullard, President of Lewis County Young Professionals. "Our goal is to create opportunities for individuals to grow, connect, and better understand the people and organizations that make this community thrive."

LEAD Lewis County is a signature program of Lewis County Young Professionals and builds upon LCYP's mission of fostering leadership, networking, and civic engagement among professionals throughout the region.

To celebrate the launch, Lewis County Young Professionals will host a LEAD Lewis County Launch Breakfast on Thursday, July 9, 2026, bringing together employers, community leaders, educators, elected officials, and partners to learn more about the program and opportunities to participate in and support the inaugural class.
