St. John’s Westminster Learning Center Walk-a-Thon 2026

The Walk-a-Thon brings together students, families, staff, and the church congregation to support meaningful community causes while investing in the future of St. John’s Westminster Learning Center. Through this event, we celebrate service, generosity, and the strength of our community.

This year’s theme celebrates holidays and special occasions throughout the year. Each classroom will select a holiday and bring it to life through themed T-shirts, games, decorations, and activities, creating a fun and festive experience for all participants.

Beneficiaries of the Walk-a-Thon

Delhi Skirt Game (25%)

For nearly 50 years, the Delhi Skirt Game has provided assistance to Delhi Township residents facing financial hardship. This volunteer-led organization supports local families facing unexpected life challenges and basic-needs insecurity.

Maria Waters Medical Fund (25%)

This fund supports Maria Waters, a former long-time Learning Center teacher and Mount St. Joseph University graduate, as she undergoes treatment for Stage III ovarian cancer. Donations will help ease the significant medical and financial burdens facing Maria and her family and provide vital support throughout her treatment and recovery.

St. John’s Westminster Learning Center (50%)

Funds designated for the Learning Center will support educational supplies, classroom equipment, and facility improvements that enhance the learning environment and directly benefit our students.
