Leave a Legacy is a school tradition that gives Rock Creek families and supporters the opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation toward the purchase of a new book for our school library in celebration of their student’s birthday or to commemorate the school year!

If you choose to participate in Leave a Legacy by making a donation, your student will get to choose which book will have their personalized legacy label and will be the first student to check out the book from the Rock Creek library. Order deadline is November 24, 2026.

In order to ensure a long shelf life, we only purchase hardcover books; therefore the donation amount is $20. Your donation is payable to Rock Creek PTO, which is a 501c(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization (Federal and State tax identification number: 47-1515741). If you would like to donate multiple books to the library in honor of your student or Leave a Legacy for multiple Rock Creek students, please re-submit the form as many times as needed.

This is the ONLY opportunity for Leave A Legacy for this school year. Thank you for helping us continue to build our library!

FYI for online giving & fees:

The PTO has enabled "tips" on the platform which eliminates an additional 1% platform fee. Tips are optional and allow the platform to remain free for nonprofits to use. Tips go to the GiveButter platform and not to the PTO.
To maintain transaction security, there is a flat processing fee of $0.30 for all online transactions plus a percentage fee depending on payment type. ACH payment = 1.9%, debit or credit card = 2.9%. You can choose to cover this fee or not.
