Local news needs your support

It’s a difficult time for all of us, in Lebanon County and beyond. As the novel coronavirus continues to impact our residents, neighborhoods, and businesses, comprehensive and up-to-date coverage of the disease is crucial for helping our community stay strong and informed.

LebTown is partnering with the Local Media Association to provide a tax-deductible way of supporting our journalism during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your gift will help our newsroom continue to provide information and coverage of the virus and its effects on the people and institutions of Lebanon County.

Additionally, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by providing local nonprofits with credits to further their mission and outreach through LebTown. After you donate, you'll receive a link to nominate a nonprofit of your choosing for these credits.

This program is a great way to take advantage of the Universal Charitable Deduction that was included in the CARES Act. On next year's tax return you will be able to deduct up to $300 in charitable contributions on top of the standard deduction. (Check out this article by the National Law Review for more information on CARES Act changes to the tax code.)

Make a donation today — together, we’ll continue to fight through this pandemic and emerge as strong as ever on the other side.
