Growing up in Zimbabwe, Blessing learned to play drums, marimba, and sing in the backyard of his single mother’s home. Surrounded by trees, grass, and open sky, he imagined the world responding to his rhythms. In those quiet moments, a dream was born — a dream of one day standing on a global stage and sharing his sound with the world.

After more than 15 years of dedication to music, that dream is now within reach. Blessing has been selected to speak and perform at TEDx Palo Alto this March 2026, where he will share his story of passion, perseverance, and growth — a story of becoming the person he was determined to be and inspiring others through music. Blessing carries Light & Hope with him, and his music — through his voice, drums, and marimba — is a true reflection of that spirit. Every note he plays carries his belief that sound can heal, connect, and uplift people across the world.
